Hours: 11am-1am daily, late-night menu 10pm-midnight
Rulloff's closed at the end of August 2014, but reopened on February 4th 2015. After a week with limited hours, they are now serving a full menu for lunch and dinner until 10pm, bar food until midnight, and brunch on Sunday.
We have fond memories of a truly great burger, decadent and relaxed weekend brunches, and stellar service at Rulloff's, and under new ownership in 2015, this eatery, with decades of history, has a chance of reclaiming some of that legacy. A couple of recent visits have us impressed with good food and good service.
After closing abruptly on Labor Day weekend, the restaurant sat in limbo until Gregar Brous, of Collegetown Bagels and Agava Restaurant fame, put together a team to purchase it in November. When good weather returns, if you'd like to take advantage of their outdoor seating, across the sidewalk from the building, note that they're not allowed to serve alcohol there.
The saloon was named for Edward Rulloff, a 19th Century robber and murderer whose abnormally large brain is among those preserved in a Cornell Psychology Department display in Uris Hall.
